6TH GRADE SCIENCE FAIR RESEARCH PAPER DUE THIS THURSDAY, MARCH 23, 2017. IT SHOULD INCLUDE 1 COVER PAGE 1-2 FULL PAGES OF RESEARCH PAPER 1 PAGE FOR WORK CITED WITH ANNOTATION SHOULD TURN IN A HARD COPY AND AN ELECTRONIC COPY VIA E-MAIL OR GOOGLE DRIVE SHARE SEE IMPORTANT DOCS TAB FOR THE FULL SCIENCE FAIR PACKET WITH ALL DETAILS. STUDENTS WILL LOSE 25% OFF GRADE IF TURNED IN LATE. Students have learned about the difference between a planet and a dwarf planet.
Students are preparing for their test see attachment for study guide. 11/10/2016 Student began their mini informal presentations on their processing skills lab where they created their own experiment based on materials provided to practice and share how they were able to develop scientific questions and try to find the answers through creating an experiment. It was so great to see the students natural science skills in action! |

We have learned about all the 8 planets and identified unique characteristics for each as well as review of the history of observing the solar system. If you struggled on anything on the test then go ahead and review those topics. 1/5/17 - If you received a C (84%) or below on your test you must complete test corrections due tomorrow 1/5/17. Best way to earn full points is to type up with original question and correct answer. If you can not print out e-mail it to me and I can print out for you! Test on Wednesday. 12/16/2016 - Read pages 30-33 in text book and complete the "Guided Reading & Study" handout - DUE MONDAY 12/19/2016 Test will be next week on Wednesday, 12/21/2016! Begin studying by studying 10 to 15 minutes a night. I know we all could use some work on Chapter 1, Section 2 in your text titled Gravity and Motion. Take some time to reaad over the main focus points read over our homework from this chapter and also can begin studying by looking at book study guide and practice test on pages 34-36.
